Yep, thanks all for the good wishes, now she looks like one of the Trailer Park Boys. All she needs is "Coke" bottle glasses.

Our friend's Jack Russell lost her eye, and I must say a bit cross eyed, is far less disconcerting then a stitched closed eye socket.
It's all relative isn't it? ;)

Fell better Kathy, the crud sure is going around. Wish I had a hidden camera for anyone that takes a hit of Buckleys!!! LOL :barf:
Just got over my laryngitis sinus/throat infection and then I come down with a flu virus over the weekend, wasn't pretty!!
Guess from what I have been told that within the first 6 months of having a knee replaced my immune system will be low. So now I am packing........sani wipes with me all the time......... geesh!!

Yes Bart Jester's eye looks great, glad they could put it back in place!

Finally a nice day.... not minus 30 and no 50 cm of snow. We hire someone to plow our laneway, since I am not an early morning person and would never have laneway done in time to go to work.

Went to snow blow the walkway and a path down to the poultry pens.... snow blower was leaking gas.... and no start. So no path making today. My daughter and I could have filmed one of those living in Alaska reality shows as we trudged through the 20 inches of snow with buckets of water and feed. The sled we usually use was not even any use, just got buried and stuck in the snow.

Later this afternoon finished making a weasel box trap, I have not seen any weasels but want to be ready.

Excellent Jim . Make sure you put outside in one of your pens to get de-oderized & put a little blood on set trap , place against a wall . If not set it's usually to late & 1/2 or all birds gone before you realize . Luck
