Anyone want to sex a chick?

I am 99.99% sure she’s a pullet.

Also, Is it an Easter egger or an americauna?
Got the chicks from a neighbor, just mixed breeds sold to me as meat birds.

If it’s a hen I may keep her in the henhouse instead of freezer camp. :-)

May be a pullet, definitely not an Ameraucana, you will find out if it's an Easter egger when (if) it lays an egg.
Might be fun to keep just to see what develops :)

Good afternoon,
I have a special announcement !
The deer family has got their own sigh, today !
City of Ottawa truck has idled at the end of my driveway for 1/2 hour and then took 5 min. to install this sign.
still wondering if it was the drivers or the deer, who made the complaint to the city ;)

How do they get them to cross at the sign?

since they spent about 20 minutes in the truck on computers, I think the parameters for the alfa alfa field on one side, and my garden on the other side made it the most likely frequent place for crossing, and possibly the fact it's a last hydro pole with nothing on it may have played a role too. ;)

I worked on a "deer crossing" culvert that went under a Hwy, about 25 years ago. The deer wouldn't cross it. Wolves were waiting at the other side. First and last deer crossing culvert.

Now we build a long bridge eg. 50 m even if we only need a little one eg. 3 m to let deer cross under the road.

Also I'm surprised it didn't take them 4 hours to put the sign up

I think I just figured out how to submit a photo to the photo contest :-)

I think I’ll keep it, see what happens. It’s really pretty to look at if nothing else!

Those deer crossing signs here have red noses…

KB: it is a pretty bird hey! Love all the feather patterns.
