Hide yer Hamsters!

Don't want to start any unplesantness here but I put this under humour although it's not really. We are for sure in the Twilight Zone

Unlikely but possible...https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nc ... imals.html Better than the Covid from a letter from Canada story :-?

I would like to highlight this sentence from the CDC link above "Chickens and ducks do not seem to become infected or spread the infection based on results from studies." :chicken_dance: :jumpy: :feed ducks:

My kids and I have spent most of the last two years in PJs or track pants, so yes, we're super comfy in the Twilight Zone

I suspect the mink culls/bans are a political thing mostly. Ferrets are known to be very susceptible to colds and flu as well you have to be careful withthem when they are pets.

I was somewhat stunned by the fact China imports hamsters from Holland....
but it is getting harder and harder to be surprised by anything at this point.
Who remembers when "Global Economy" was the new and shiny thing ?????
And who thought it wasn't a very good idea ????

Well, any mammal can get, carry and shed covid 19. So...of course, let's get rid of ALL the mammals in the world so they don't spread covid 19 to us! (insert facepalm here). Once all the mammals are gone, and we're all starving and wondering just what the h377 we did to ourselves, maybe we can engage in a cull of human beings so that this stupidity doesn't happen again....??
I had a nightmare the other night that people were killing their cats and dogs because they could spread covid19. I am honestly not really surprised by anything right now.

We're building a new house and tubs come from Europe and garage door insulation from Texas and no idea when they will arrive and no chips for cars means no new cars and used car prices have skyrocketed because of Covid...Twilight Zone...

I thought I was the only one having nightmares! Dreamt that Swim Team broke into and took over the pool during closure and refused to give it up! This is a recurring one.

Also Hydro One is taking FOREVER to hook up our electricity. They took our money, but one year later still no power. I cracked 2 teeth from grinding. My dentist said she is so busy because everyone is cracking their teeth. She asked me if I was stressed and I said not anymore than I normally am :-) but I guess all the Covid stress is released at night!
