Astra Zeneca
Astra Zeneca
My brother-in-law died unexpectedly a week ago. He was driving in Regina, apparently felt sick or something, and pulled over to the side of the road. The police found him dead in the car. He was 68. He had an Astra Zeneca shot some time before this. I don't know how long before. An autopsy has been done but results won't be available for a month or two. They suspect a heart attack. I wonder if it was caused by the shot. He was basically a healthy person, but he could have had heart disease.

Re: Astra Zeneca
The other thing is that even the MMR vaccine has an incidence of this type of clotting side effect and I don't see people stopping their kids having it.

Re: Astra Zeneca
Sorry for your loss, unfortunately there's going to be a lot of speculation when someone dies unexpectedly and has received the astra zeneca shot and rightly so.
The fact the government pulled it off the shelves so to speak, that says to me a lot more people than publicized had issues.

Re: Astra Zeneca
@Shnookie My condolences to you and your family. I believe after around 3 weeks you are probably not going to get a clot from a vaccine and the chances are very small to begin with. In comparison, my dental surgeon said there is a 1 in 100 chance that my face will be permanently paralyzed after my wisdom teeth are removed and I didn't think twice about removing them. The chances of dying from a blood clot are much lower. Getting the AZ vaccine 1 month and 10 days ago may have saved my husband, our family, and friends from getting Covid. My hubby had an employee test positive 2 weeks ago (our family was in quarantine for 14 days) she is still suffering from fatigue and unable to work. Also his cousin died the week before from Covid so you brother-in-law did the right thing. I called my doctor and she said to get vaccinated as soon as possible with any vaccine you can get. If in doubt about anything medical please call your Family Doctor.
