4 yo male Pyrenees mix looking for home on farm

Sadly, no poultry though. I'm just posting here in case someone knows a farmer who is looking for a good guard dog.

I have a pup that needs a farm (no poultry) or home in the country with an experienced owner & no young children. He is a neutered 4 year old male Pyrenees mix. He has been a family dog (house trained) that has had a few homes through no fault of his own. Just people adopting a breed of dog they have no idea about & then passing him off to another inexperienced owner. As such, he has had little proper training other than basic commands. He gets along with other dogs & cats. He is a lovable pup but he can get nippy & that is why I want an experienced owner. Large livestock would be best. He is up to date on shots and microchipped.

It's not obvious where this person is, but I'm guessing she lives in Ottawa.

Poor guy....hope he finds a good responsible home. We have a Pyrenees and when we retired off the farm we figured we’d have to put him down or bring him with us. They don’t move easily as they tend to bond to place and transfer of ownership is tough. Thankfully ours made the transition....but it is certainly challenging. They are a great dog for the life and job they were bred for.

This sounds EXACTLY like an ad that was running a few months ago.

I wish I could take him, I'm pretty positive I could set him straight.
