Please be VERY careful about selling chicks around Easter time - assuming things calm down. SOmetimes parents or photographers just want a cute "prop" for a few days and have no clue what they're doing.

People do that? Wow. I always ask basic things like “ what will you be feeding?” And “where will you be putting them when you get home?” To get an idea if they know what they are doing without being rude.

Yup, sadly they do. A while ago someone was intending to get chicks for a Mall display with no idea they needed heat. Had no clue what they were going to do with them afterwards either.

And while the government gives tax breaks to small businesses, report the sale as income.
Because you can also claim a lot of expenses.
