[quote="WLLady"]QR_BBPOST Good morning everyone! FRF hows the knee coming along? that's a busy week, and what a downer to be sick. feel better soon.

Knee is doing very well Kathy, thanks for asking!! Now today I woke up with no voice, throat is not sore but I can hardly talk. Went to work with good intentions but was sent home by 11:00, when your front reception at a very busy veterinary clinic I need my voice!! Dr. appointment tomorrow, that's the soonest I could get in, I have a feeling I will need some antibiotics :(

I am so sorry that idiot got you soaked, some people. I see puddles on the road and if there are pedestrians I slow right down. This weather is not good for people with arthritis, it may be mild out today but I can feel the dampness. Sorry your hurting today Ross as well, stay warm!!!

So "Little Missie" who had the nasty tail injury - bitten through to the bone, was out today and was using her tail again. Maybe she had swelling around the nerves. Nice to see it perky again with no apparent pain! Her broken foot also doesn't seem to be causing a problem either walking or roosting. Just hoping there's nothing internal wrong.

Whoooeee, once hump day is over she's getting cold... better find your long johns... Gotta bring more wood in from the shed.

Crazy day today... celebrated Valentine's day early.. we went for breakfast (had florentine eggs benedict) and then took the Rev for dinner: full rack of ribs at Big Bone BBQ. You'd think were on holidays.....

good morning everyone!
ah, valentines day. something that apparently germans don't celebrate. we'll go out for dinner anyways. we're still farm sitting that day, so nothing spectacular LOL. and i've managed to lose 10 pounds, so i am going to try to celebrate that (and hubby's birthday) with a bit of restraint LOL

FRF so glad it's doing well! my boss just got over the laryngitis bug going around. took about 5 days with no voice whatsoever. nasty.....hope you feel better really soon! KB glad she's doing okay too! Ross, sounds wonderful.

okay, what is the deal with roll up the rim??? i've been playing online and won NOTHING. and i buy one coffee (well, tea...) every day. and NOTHING. maybe today will be my lucky day LOL.

Well WLLady that must be what I have, I have never had laryngitis before. It must be from this viral infection I have going on in my sinus and throat. Going to the Dr. today so will she what she says. Had to take today off work as well, when you are in customer service and reception it's real hard to do your job!!

I totally forgot about Valentine Day this weekend, we usually go out as a family for breakfast on Sunday morning. Might have to make a reservation this week!!!

Everything covered in snow this morning, as much as I hate the stuff it is very pretty.

Have a good day all!!

Bad day on the acreage yesterday
Lost 3 roosters to infectious respiratory problem from this damn weather
I feel bad about it cause I hesitated on the antibiotics and didn't start them till this past Saturday and should have started them a day or two earlier
I hate winters like this !!
But on a positive note all 40 of the other birds are doing great and no major issues
