Good morning, colder today but nice and sunny, spending a bit of time outside with the few birds I still have here enjoying the sun. Waiting anxiously for my call from the Ottawa Heart Institute to find out what time to arrive tomorrow for my double bypass surgery.

Well finished my coffee, time to do something to keep my mind busy.

Hope everyone has a great day.

@JimW Good luck, I'm sure you'll get good care, my mom had this done when she was 84. Came through with flying colours. My brother had a quadruple bypass was home in 3 days, sore yes but up and about on his own.

Good morning,
Snowed in a bit this morning, was happy to hear the snow blower tractor going before we got out of bed, much easier to get to the barn.
I guess the final test for the cold storage insulation coming tonight with -30 windchill expected.
So far the temperature never dipped below 7C, I am so impressed with the foam insulation, should have done that years ago.
Have a safe one!

Good morning, we are having a "spot of winter" here, what a crazy winter it has been so far.
Youngest son and family are getting ready for a move to DC and I have been drafted for some "baby"sitting, holy c.r.a.p......
I have been out of the baby business for a while and must have forgotten (or mine weren't that high maintenance) but bit like a flying a plane, long periods of boredom interspersed by moments of sheer terror. ;)
To top it off I ended up on the road during rush hour, not sure how people can do that every day, a trip that takes 35min took close to an hour.
Have a good one!

I may be out of line but I just heard from @JimW. He is home and sounds to be doing well. Great news.

Good afternoon. I got home from the hospital a couple days ago, my double bypass went well and just starting recovery. Not too much else happening, just resting, soon will start thinking about birds and gardening and fishing.

Hopefully everyone is having a great weekend.
