Yep, have had a few. Just their way of guaranteeing that they have your attention, to remind you to dispense treats - since you're in the the neighbourhood anyway. :-)

One way to get attention, Wyandottes are too polite for that, but Ameraucanas pull bottom of pants, and fly waist high, so you don't miss them ;)

My Barred Rock Ziggy, jumps at me all the time. Game over if I'm carriying the red treat pail. The rest of the girls just try and trip me. I'm so surprised i haven't stepped on them....

I have decided to call the butt pecker in my flock Rosey. She also pecks at my sleeve or shoulder if she is above. She never gets any extra treats, but she does get held for a few seconds. Oh... and she gets petted a lot.
