I am continuously amazed at the amount of work some of you manage beside a "regular" job.
This year youngest son & family hosted Thanksgiving and they served ham from their CSA share.
Locally produced and very nice.
Our Thanksgiving turkeys were in the field across the road, no doubt thankful they weren't part of the feast.

Well I've given up trying to bathe/clean up the turkeys for the show. Why on earth did I pick a white turkey especially when they love to root around and forage? On the plus side I'm not injured yet.

Glad I picked last of the potatoes before it started, and the garlic is in, now just the remnants of tomato and squash plants to clean up and garden is ready to go to sleep for the winter.
DH announced first blue egg in couple of month from our geriatric Ameraucana flock, I guess time for a clean up there too.
