@thegawd, what ever happened with your plucker? Hubby was asking about building one, and I remembered this thread. But you left me hanging at the end. I need a conclusion. lol.

well I guess a late reply is better than none.... sorry!
I have not messed with the plucker since I built it. I havent really needed it and it still needs an upgraded proper 3/4 hp motor. which I finally have a couple to choose from.
the best advice is to not build it out of a maytag washing machine because they were not built to be taken apart and it was a lot of work. so whenever I need the plucker again will be when I upgrade the motor.
