Population increasing
Peachies 8 are about three weeks now, doing good.
Blackie Wackie hatched 5 out of 8 eggs on Tuesday. Fondue is hatching this morning, Friday, set on 7 eggs.
Bunny (what else should you name an easter egger?) will hatch on Monday or so. Just set Little Red last night. She is one of the hatch from the eggs WindowWashingWoman sent me last year.
Sold an EE hen last week, $15
Planning on selling Bunny and her hatch as a family unit. My standard price for mother hen and 6 or 8 chicks it $50, and I have never really had problems getting it. So the girls are all helping buy their feed.

Did you keep that blue and white boy you got from my eggs? This little one is going to look like that :) Messy blue columbian. I have pictures but the photo upload thing is glitchy for me today--it's saying the files are invalid.

Re: Population increasing
Well on Saturday, Fondue hatched five. One was dead under her next morning, no idea why. Then a blowing barn door did for another one, so down to three. Hope that works out.
Then Yesterday, Bunny hatched 9. All with us this morning. She is the one I will be selling. Onee neighbor might, or I might go to Wyoming next Sunday, not sure.
And one more setting. The red hen from the mailed eggs from www last year. On about a dozen of the eggs that look like from that bunch. She should hatch about the 5th June I think.
Also got a bottle baby goat that the dog adopted, two weeks old now, so should make it. Nice friendly little girl. amazes me tho, the attention it gets from that dog. I think the great pyrenese is really kicking in.
