Re: No crowing
Well, the saga continues. I have worked out a balance between time inside and time outside with the girls.
For the last 5 days he has been strongly crowing in the morning. He gets the day shift outside. He is eating lots on his own and coming in with a full crop at night. I think he is getting stronger. He's running away from my other roo. So all in all he seems to be getting better...but who knows. Thanks for asking KB.

He's stick skinny no meat on his bones. He crowed a couple of times this week. He's eating. I have him outside in a special area where he can have grass and he has a friend. He seems brighter and wants to hang out with his girls but I haven't let him for a while. I doubt he is going to get better. However, I don't have the heart to cull him. Does that make me a bad chicken mom
