Re: Good Morning!
OK so not the morning and not so good ? another load of snow, hard to decide if it's worse to take the dog for a walk in the back, snow starting to get a bit deep even with occasional run thru with a snow blower, or on the road, where the piles are getting higher and the road is getting narrower.
@baronrenfrew planning a winter vacation?
I have decided to go and visit BobG in BC in March,
but will just be exchanging snow for rain I think.
But as they say, change is as good as rest...or something like that.
New French bakery in Kanata selling their "butter puff pastry" so had to try and experiment with it, doesn't do a thing for my midsection :)
but pleasant occupation on snowy Sat morning.
Have a safe one !

Re: Good Morning!
Concord grapes, we processed them in the fall and froze the juice. A friend has plenty of grapes for the picking. We have been doing it for years. Usual pick about 20lbs and it doesn't look like we've taken 1.
Super easy to make.
4 cups juice
7 cups sugar
Boil the juice and sugar hard for 1 min.
1 pkg of liquid pectin added just after you finished boiling. Skim if you need. Then can.
I usual can for 10min then turn off the stove and let them sit there for another 5. Remove. Then don't touch them for 24 hours. Works like a charm every time! Yummy!
