Thanks for good answers. I like your idea of a cleanout door with a pop door in it.Jaye wrote: ↑Wed Aug 22, 2018 9:11 pmI have two big cleanout doors and a pop door in the bottom of one of them.
The cleanout doors are only opened long enough for the big spring and fall cleanouts; the rest of the time it's only the pop door that gets opened. Like @Ontario Chick and @Killerbunny said, less chance of uninvited/unwanted "guests".

Re: Good Morning!
When they first start laying, they just drop them wherever they happen to be at the time, day or night. But after a few eggs they'll start picking a spot. They like to nest under cover, on the ground...if your nesting boxes are on the floor, they WILL use them, but not if they have to jump or climb up any distance. An upside down storage tub with a door cut in the the side works great!

Re: Good Morning!
Good evening, just got home from daughter's volleyball practice and 20th wedding anniversary dinner with my wife. Now internet searching for a new used vehicle, my current suv will hit 444 000 km by the weekend and needs tires and break work, so time for something newer.

Re: Good Morning!
Anybody who got 444 000 Km on any vehicle is my hero, is it the Pathfinder?
Had an interesting encounter in the back 4, haven't seen the does in about a week, just Bambi hangin around and yesterday a Buck popes out of the junipers, pretty much straight up...( I might have done the same thing) about 20 feet away from me and the dog, the dog looked bemused and not a peep out of him, when I recovered sufficiently and mentally recounted the antler (spikes? ) I think there were 4 each side ? if that makes sense, haven't seen one in years.
Sunny and fresh this morning, perfect weather for some landscaping duties.
Have a good one!

Re: Good Morning!
OC yep my Nissan Pathfinder... I hit 444 000km today I am fishing in North Bay this weekend so will be over 445 k when I get home then will look at “new” used vehicles next week. She still runs fine, A/C broken and an expensive fix so it has been a hot summer driving it. I would love to keep it until spring but tires and brakes will cost $1500 to 2000, which would be 6 months of car payments and if anything else goes in the next 6 months then I am on the losing end. I would love to drive it until 500 k be just does not make any sense.
