Yes, it was. Big turnout, and better prices for the sellers than the fall, for the most part, although still not what I would call spring sale prices. Lots of variety, and quite a few boxes of chicks of different breeds.

You must have taken a picture with me in it Cliff, now you broke your camera!

Yes really good turn out, people had to park on both sides of the street, I don't ever remember seeing that many people before. Spring prices are always higher than fall prices but like Jaye said not what is a normal high for spring prices, maybe people are waiting for warmer weather I am not sure why. Really good quality stuff went high as usual. I didn't get anything, I was thinking about the chicks but they went for good prices so better to let someone else buy them and do the chores.

I had to leave before the leghorn cross chicks sold, anyone know what they went for?

Sorry, no - wasn't paying attention to the leghorn cross chicks.I did notice them and thought they were good quality, but was distracted by other conversations. I had a good time catching up with another poultry folk though.
BTW, I had to park on the next side street - haven't had to do that since 2013. Great turn out.

Think you may find all sales prices cept for top line show quality down from other years cause of cost input on all other items hydro , heat , household etc changing priorities in spending . I was gonna buy a new shotgun this year but bought a good used same for less than 1/2 the price .luck

We will see in two weeks at the Alfred sale, if prices are low there in the beginning..... then uh oh.

At -24 here this morning, I am so glad I didn't buy any extra chores yesterday!
