Re: Good Morning!
Good morning, I think,
So far took netting down from dog kennel just ahead of ice pellets, the other net over small run is either going to make it thru this mess or will retire in shreds.
The chickens had about 2 hours out and that may be it for the next couple days, luckily I got some lovely straw from 5 Span in Pakenham so everybody is nice and cozy sorting out the fresh bedding.
Have a safe one! :)

Re: Good Morning!
Chickens are very unhappy now and making their feelings felt The young turkeys are confused and are now eating the snow! We leg banded the non-cull pullets this am too. DH thinks they are all trotting around going "hmmmmm, why does SHE have a band and I don't?" LOL.

Re: Good Morning!
Yes, snow, snow and blowing snow here, yuck. At least the cluster fly invasion has slowed down a lot with the cold.
I had the chickens out with me yesterday as I put in the last of my wood and changed my tires. Only a bit of sleet fell so they thought it was a treat. Started to rain about 3:00 pm so put them in, then came the snow, yuck.
