Re: Animal talk
Didn't give it much thought as I tend not to name the hens, so probably
... you know the giant loud one with the food dispenser...?

Re: Animal talk
Every time I step out the door, I'm pretty sure I hear a chorus of "The Gravy Train! The Gravy Train!" as they swarm my legs; so I don't wonder what they call me :)

While we were away our birdsitter said that they told him they get far more treats than he was giving them and also #2 wouldn't leave him alone all the time he had the treat bucket in his hand because she seemed to think it was hers!

Regarding # 114
I am asking this question for a "friend".
My friend has a chair in her turkey paddock and I know she spends a lot of time with them having coffee and chatting. She claims this is because they are BSWs and since they are critically endangered need special care. She has also told me that she prefers them to most people. DO you think she may have a problem?

Not at all. I have a friend who has a fold up stool in her chicken coop, for those impromptu hen parties.

Re: Animal talk
I see no issue. My friend shopped for a new "barn coat" and purchased the one that the chickens would like better.

Re: Animal talk
My friend has two lawn chairs just outside her chicken run so that she and her hubby can relax and watch the chickens. She pulls one chair up nice and close so that she can sit comfortably when feeding them Dandelion leaves through the wire mesh.
