A Conservation Area is a great idea! Belwood is 2 hours and 51 mins or 263 kms and im good with that! I've drove almost as far for some of my birds

Bellwood looks good from my end too! It would take me about an 1.5-2 hours for me to get there. I'm like Ross.... you'd have to drag me kicking and screaming at gun point to drive thru Toronto anywhere. I absolutely despise stupid drivers and traffic jams. Really, I shouldn't be driving a bus..... and all the jerks who pull all kinds of crap when I'm on the road.... well.... better just stop right here, lol.

There use to be a few decent pike in Belwood Lake years ago, if I remember correctly. I was there once or twice years ago.
Belwood is 450 km each way from my place.... a bit of a drive, but KB's husband and I drove further than that to pick up the Beltsville turkeys last spring, and I have made 3 other trips further than that in the last year to pick up birds and eggs. So no problem, I can do that drive, with my boat it tow.
Man I just realized I have made four 1000 km plus road trips in less than a year to pick up birds and eggs, I have a problem. lol

No worries JimW, I work with two colleagues who travel that every second weekend in the summer for their son's baseball! One bought a new car last spring, it's out of warranty now (over 80k). You have a LOOOOOOOOOONG way to go yet.....
