The girls got a half watermelon today to help them stay cool (on sale for $2.88 at Food Basics, couldn't resist).
Who knew they would need cooling food on September16?

DH says they have to canoe because they don't have a boaters card.

So I'm looking at the first group of 6 wyandottes and I'm thinking that there can't possibly be 1 boy 4 girls and 1 probable girl???? 13 weeks. The group of 12 look an even split.

Had about 30 visitors this am in the field next to the turkey paddock. 4 wild turkey hens and the kids came around. Youngsters seemed very interested in the turkeys because they speak the same language I guess but looked confused by them being white!
