Update on my little blonde boys (yes both boys).
The white winged guy is a very odd mix! Any ideas what's in their genetic make up to get white from 2 Black Breasted Red OEGB? This isn't the first chick they've hatched like this. The last one was also a rooster and he looked spangled ( black on white). I didn't get to see him with adult feathers so I'm not sure how he turned out!

The slightly darker blond chick has a white end on each of his chest feathers

I really wish I could see how they turn out as adults. They all have a new home to go to as soon as Little has had enough of mothering.

I forgot to ask who OC?

Update pic of the white one. 6 weeks old and they are still clinging to mom. I'm sure whatever this guy is he's not desirable but I think he's pretty awesome looking.

Little is STILL mothering. I'm not sure she's ever going to tire of this bunch. Can't really blame her they are so cute and tame. If I walk anywhere near the garden there's two of these boys weaving in and around my ankles. One reminds me so so much of Happy. They boys have their red hackles and saddles starting to poke through.

Lol I just walked around to the front of the house and found this waiting beside the front door. Nope not spoiled! Little created monsters.

That white guys my fav too @windwalkingwolf

He's the leader of the group too. Very dominant. If his dad wouldn't make his life a living hell he would be staying.

Must be the year. My banty Cochin is still mothering her 10 chicks. They are 9 weeks old today!
Usually 6-8 weeks she has had enough of them

10 1/2 weeks old and mom never had fully separated from them. They had to go because they were fighting. This was yesterday just before they got picked up. Sherman sat beside Little singing to her last night.
