All except the wyandottes, they are far too superior to sully their precious feathers. Turkeys and other chickens are right out there eating the nearly ready peas!!!!

Mine run for the overhang on the deck and lounge where it's dry. They don't like being caught in there coop so if rain starts they book it for the house lol

first spits and the chickens are flying for cover. the turkeys would stay out in gale force winds and sleet i swear......they don't care. just like the horses.

My chickens don't seem to mind the rain too much, they will go in and out of cover. My turkeys are back to being a mud covered mess after finally looking relatively lean for a few days.

Nobody stays out in the rain here, the Ameraucanas go either under cover or inside, the Wyadottes get herded in by Mactawish at first sight of a small cloud on the horizon, ;)

Some don't go out at all, but most do, unless it's a torrential downpour. The turkeys will go out in any weather, some will forage and some will just stand in it looking miserable lol

Heavy down-pour, NO. Light rainfall all day there OK with.

Same with mine - they take cover in a heavy rain, but most carry on as usual when there is light rainfall - mud and all.
I have even put a dish on the ground to catch rain from their coop roof.
To digress.... Plus, they prefer to drink spilled, muddy water and rainwater than water from the founts. Even if the spilled water is that which I have dumped from the fount after swishing out the dirt.
