Hello
Hey all!
Brand new and living in Guelph.
Currently have a flock of eight aging hens that i purchased about two months ago as a trial.
The trial went well and I am thinking of restarting in the spring due to their ages.
Or I might keep the two or three that still produce eggs and add a bunch more.
Either way I will need some nice pullets with some colour, but will also need to keep the price in check.
Anyone breeding in the Guelph area please contact me, or if you live in Guelph and you're placing an order for spring pullets that I could get on and maybe save each other a few bucks contact me as well.
I am interested in Barred Plymouth Rocks, Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks, Speckled and other Sussex, Swedish Flowers, Easter Eggers.
I love the look of laced birds like white laced red wyandottes, or the golden/silver laced varieties.
I am also interested in discovering other colourful breeds that are available locally not just the list above.
All the best,
CoopNScoop

Re: Hello
Welcome! Glad I'm not the only one to give elderly hens a second chance :) Just wait until summer, those old ladies will surprise you! If you have a rooster, you might soon find you have all the replacement chickens you need for winter layers and more eggs than you know what to do with!
