And, you would be correct! Sandy is correct in part with the Native connection, I am part Cherokee, and KB is in part correct with the Norse connection, I am Asatru. I knew there was a reason I call you friend, KB :) If any of you thinks you know what 'windwalking' is, or why someone would identify as a wolf, let me know :D
windwalking...hmmmm maybe a guide, spiritual leader, been here before?
Wolf .. Umm aren't they the souls of passed? Oh wait, is that orcas? Wolves are definitely something spiritual and to do with death...TELL!!! Share!!! I LOVE this kind of stuff

Have to admit I once saw a wild wolf in Algonquin park. It stood and stared at us for a good minute before melting back in to the trees. All I remember were the huge eyes and the camera which remained hanging around my neck unused despite hubby prodding my ribs LOL! Just magic.

BVF : that bottom pic you can sell as a poster, its a beauty

ontario chick : fyi there is an Ontario county in NY state, and Ontario is a city in california

WWW : yep the Nazi's were big on the occult and old legends and tried to use it to make themselves important. Even the swastika is the same as a cross found in old Buddhist places

This from religionfacts.com. In Hinduism, the right-hand (clockwise) swastika is a symbol of the sun and the god Vishnu, while the left-hand (counterclockwise) swastika represents Kali and magic. The Buddhist swastika is almost always clockwise, while the swastika adopted by the Nazis (many of whom had occult interests) is counterclockwise.

"PoultryPrincess"

I used "PoultryPrincess" as my email user name for 25+ years
( another hint to my hubby that I needed "Poultry" ~ this was Pre-Poultry )

Our friends would get a chuckle about my email address.
My BIG City Quilt guild friends always called me the "Chicken Lady"

Deep down in my heart I KNEW I needed POULTRY
But even Deeper Down in my SOUL, I was Positive I was a PRINCESS
