Heres a few pictures of a rescue horse we got... that was dumped at Kitchener horse sale as a yearling. She was from show stock (obviously from her looks), but wasn't good enough for the farm because one of her back hooves turns outwards abit. Sheesh. Shes a big baby! As are all the horses here.

Re: What's In Your Name
Starview Ridge is what we decided to name our farm when we bought it almost 4 years ago. The property was only known as "Tomlinson's place or McClintock's" for the last 60+ years (last two owner's family names) Since it was basically our dream house, we had to come up with something better than that! I used to work across the street from this farm when I was a teenager and used to always tell my friends that I was going to live in a place just like that someday....looked at a listing online (hobby of mine) was intrigued and setup a viewing....not realizing until we got to the driveway what place it actually was. It is great to be able to say that I was able to buy my dreamhouse by 37 years old.
The Starview part isn't very exciting either....our first house in Guelph was on Starview Crescent, and I needed a name for my business out of the basement and went with Starview Studios....we just took the name with us....it suits better here because we are up on a open ridge with great nighttime views.

Mine is a remnant from before PSO/PTO times, when I was on the "other" Forums, mainly in US, so just to make sure they knew poultry hobby was alive in Ontario
if they knew where it was......
Since I completely lack any imagination in the naming department, all my password are the same and if I had anything worth stealing I would be a very easy target indeed.

Re: What's In Your Name
And, you would be correct! Sandy is correct in part with the Native connection, I am part Cherokee, and KB is in part correct with the Norse connection, I am Asatru. I knew there was a reason I call you friend, KB :) If any of you thinks you know what 'windwalking' is, or why someone would identify as a wolf, let me know :DKillerbunny wrote:Hey WWW I was almost thinking Fenris as part of the inspiration for your name!
