So here is #3 who came out of that egg that was hatching in the picture above.
This thread started re a Little giant incubator and that's exactly what 2 of them were hatched in. The 3rd one was hatched in the Svenson which was mentioned in this forum.

LongCrow wrote:QR_BBPOST Has anyone tried the new style 2017 model Svenzun cabinet incubators yet? They tell me over 50 already sold.

They look like they could be an upgrade from earlier models. I really like the rollex style turner and the humidity drum. Seems to me it may work great but I have had some bad experience with 96 egg plastic made in China incubators.

Not sure yet if I'm willing to be one of the first to try them. Any feedback appreciated

I have no experience with them. I have been looking at them, I really want one, but like you not sure if I want to be the first to try.

I bought the 180 model and I am so pleased with it I just received my second one, I had good results with my 4 tabletop but only need the 2 Svenson as the rollers turn not only turn the chicken eggs but also the Emu. It has a built in holding tank for the humidifier but I am running a tube to the holding tank so I can attach a water container on the outside. Then only have to open the door for candling etc.

I did end up buying the 180 model as well. 150 eggs are in for 2 weeks. Seems really good so far but will find out in a week. Running on the auto setting. Haven't installed an exterior water supply for this batch but plan on in the future. I think that Leslie is working on a permanent fix.
I will post hatch results about May 07.

Congratulations.

Lesley came up with a great idea utilizing a container and creating a vacume, I was going to put a small ball valve but his idea eliminates that. soon you will need the hatching trays.

Hatching day has come for my new "SVENZUN SVC-180 INCUBATOR." Very pleased, chicks look much better than when hatched in the cheap plastic models.
Eggs in. 150
Into hatching trays 102 (unfortunately fertility was a little low)
Chicks out today 76 (5 left in with rest of eggs)
Expect to finish with 85+% hatch

Overall I rate incubator 8+ but it must be 100% level front to back with those turners or they will push eggs to front or back.
(I had to adjust after day 1 as eggs all pushed to back)

Congratulations and thank you for the update, did you use the auto chicken setting or manual? I just put a few dozen Jubilee Orpington eggs in and set on auto, temp and humidity are right where they are supposed to be.

So what is your next batch going to be?

I used the auto setting. This hatch was mostly my meat bird crosses and a few LF White Cornish.
I have a few dozen eggs ordered that were delayed that I will set late May along with more Cornish.
Easier to get addicted when it works so well.

Jim W this is his quote a few posts above, we both have the same incubator.
