Good Morning!
Evening all, I lost 1 of the 20 chicks hatched....it was one that I helped when I transferred the rest to the brooder....he was dry stuck to the egg and hadn't made any progress all day from the pip...was alive but weak, still happy with 19 fuzzy little puffy cheeks.

Good Morning!
Good morning,
Bright and sunny here, Geese flying overhead, pair of Pileated woodpeckers having a domestic dispute and the Merlin is screeching from the top of the tallest spruce, presumably broadcasting his GP to his wife.
Can see the driveway again, but the bridge is flooded, so the deer are laughing at me and the dog from the other side, one of these days, somebody is gonna get hurt, I swear
Have a sunny one!

Good Morning!
hi everyone, not quite morning anymore....having a slow day. did too much yesterday and am just taking it easy today....
yesterday we had a vet trip with spawn of evil, blood and a spot on his eye checked. then zip home to move hay and a run to work with a chair that i can actually sit in for starting work tomorrow, then dinner out with my mom and then ran into my BIL and sister and kids....talked with them for a bit, then home. chores....and totally forgot to get to the feed store. oops. i better go tomorrow!!!!
beautiful day! sun is shining, no wind, lovely warm 15C and the flies are everywhere again! yuck! my daffodils are just starting to bloom, the crocuses are blooming and my day lilies and irises are sprouting! time to deal with the grass in the asparagus patch....and try to get the fence around the garden up so the dogs can't get in. just puttering today enjoying the weather.
let the turkeys out, they're enjoying the sun and strutting up a storm. they're laying like mad. one of my royal palm pen girls hasn't figured out what to do with the boy yet....but everyone else is giving fertile eggs that are developing nicely in the incubator at day 8 now!
hope everyone has a great day
