Morning everyone! nice and sunny and not windy for a change. very very nice! going to head out and let the turkeys out for a while i think. saw my first robin of the spring on my lawn yesterday. i know, lots don't migrate, but they don't appear on my lawn and sing like crazy till it's spring. LOL. and it was hopping around, so it wasn't frozen to a worm or anything. so there's hope spring is here! huge flocks of swans been going over this morning too. actually heading in the right direction, north!

Ross, looks positively wonderful. love the rays of sun shining in. BVF you are going to be busy with all those cows!!!! enjoy your free time now! LOL

Morning all, Came down in the kitchen to the sound of peeping from the basement, I know chick dust in the house....again...but couldn't resist setting the bator when it was so warm here the end of February....since then we have had 14 inches of snow and the wind has temps in the freezer. I have 8 chicks and 2 pips that I could see. Used some eggs that were two weeks old to fill out the incubator.... have a couple barnvelder and blue marans as well as the americauna and crested legbars...all covered by black americauna roos. I thought for sure those roos were girls.....the tiniest little pea combs, oh well glad I saved them, maybe girls this year. How bad is it to breed roos back to their momma???

Hi everyone!

wow, peeping in the basement, BVF is keeping me updated on her peeping from the incubator and fuzzybutts emerging by the minute! i had to go and check the water in the incubator!!!! (it was fine).

lovely sunny day. beautiful.
nice drive to london and back for my 3 month followup. which went well. i start back to work part time on april 3. 2.5 days a week for up to another 6 months. everything is still where he put it in surgery, so my run in with the pothole from hell in the CIBC parking lot in glencoe didn't rattle anything loose thankfully. potholes are BAD right now. LOL. i can also start driving again! whoohoo! so. first order of business, renew the dog tags at Rodney. sometime. i think i'm going to wait for the weekend and do that with the company of my hubby in case i don't feel like driving home again. and i am able to start some very gentle physiotherapy! the referral note says "work on core/posture JUST GENTLY". lol. so. guess i still need to be gentle with my spine. but it's all good news, and apparently i'm doing much better than expected.
yay! I have this form for my workplace that asks for a box to be checked "full recovery expected" with "yes", "no" or "uncertain" and he's checked "uncertain" and written beside it "but quite likely". LOL.

so. onwards! soon to not be a recluse anymore! whoohoo! it is going to be nice to be doing something again!!! yay!

congrats on the fuzzybutts everyone! of course, we are all going to need pictures!!!!
