Some pretty cool poultry folk (TomK, Dave & Dawn, Killerbunny and Vian, Kdms and partner (Wilton? gods I'm awful with names) and gorgeous kids, Redninja, Chickenninja and Jaime, JimW, Dbrooks, Jaye and partner (see what I mean?) BaronRenfrew, and I think I am forgetting someone??
And maybe some gratuitous poultry pics :D Sorry they're so big, not sure why they're loading that way.

Big thanks to WWW for hosting and working so hard. Great to meet people and put faces to names. Food was awesome - JimWs salmon was a special memory for me! Got to meet some of my birds again that went to Jans. Cronk the tom turkey really liked my foot LOL! Who knew 4 month old geese were that big. After Jan posted the first pics of the new farm in November I wasn't expecting this. You guys have worked so hard and it's great!
Oh and the ducklings, nooooooooooo. They are seriously cute, think hubby checked several times to make sure there weren't any in the van before we left. (Had to go home for our birds where we had a minor drama with the newly independent 6 week olds who had gotten lost 20 feet from their coop).

WWW a tip of my hat as your place looked pretty good. That morning a guy (Ephrem: not a PTO member) came to my place and bought some week-old guinea keets; and he we chatted about farm tasks and priorities. I couldn't care less for yardwork: if it was me, i'd mow the whole place once per year and the rest of the time some critter would be charged with mowing the yard. I'd rather spend my time with a chainsaw "pruning" the forest: knocking down ironwood making space for pines and maples (our place is 70% ironwood).
But we had a party at home for my mom Saturday noon so we spent a week getting the yard and house up to snuff. The whole time one thought was on my mind: could I get an army of low-wage workers to get this farm/house/yard into shape? (I really use the word "Mexicans" as they seem to dominate landscaping and kitchen jobs across the USA: they work hard when its hot where I prefer cooler temps. If you say that wrong it can really sound inappropriate; but I mean it as term of respect: I'm the lazy one.)
As it is i'm falling behind in tasks that all "need" to be done. Everything around here gets done when its moved to the "urgent" to do list. Otherwise I disappear with the chainsaw every time. I like the idea of doing a task and next week its still done: mow the lawn, take a nap, and it needs to be done again! vs cut trees and make a wood pile and next week ITS STILL THERE!

To anyone that got some turkey eggs, just cracking some here for breakfast and they're fertile so those ones may be!

Wish we could have been there. I am glad to see that PTO is taking on a live of it's own.

That makes it all worthwhile.

Adding to the kudos, I want to thank WWW for hosting yesterday's get together...its a lot of work to get things ready for a passle of guests ...I only wish I was able to stay longer...It was wonderful to meet some of the folks i've been interacting with here online ...what a great group...at the next one, and I'm hoping that there is another one, I look forward to meeting even more of you...it was an interesting experience being circled continuously by a couple of Tom turkeys with intentions of getting up on my lap...too funny...thank again Jan

As already stated a big thanks to Jan for hosting, it was great to see some PTOers I have meet in the past and meet some new ones.

Lots and lots of food.... KB had great burgers with homemade buns.

A big thanks to Red Ninja and Chicken Ninja and the "Little Ninja" for making the long trip it was great to meet you all and thanks for hatching, caring for and transporting my little Svart Hona chick, "she" is awesome.

I was the one that wound up taking them home. I did mention to a few people that they were available, but didn't ask around again before I left. My bad. Shame they're fertile and my one broody hen is done for the summer and I don't have an incubator.. Or maybe not. lol. Hoping to make some kick*ss meringue with them though, if no one else wants them for hatching.
