Morning y'all

Guess where I'm going today. GUESS!!
Bass Pro with my PAL in my wallet.
Went to Al Simmons Gun Shop in Hamilton last week. Was not treated as I expect, so I'm going back to where I was treated 'respectfully. They were excellent with me and my crossbow purchase and my endless questions. So. I'm heading back! Also going to look at some Kayaks.

I've been fighting a sore throat and getting anything done has been an honest to goodness effort. I feel like I'm a bit ahead of the struggle today so that's good.

I'm off to do some chores and head out. Have a good day everyone.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!! She was told she may go home today, after being told new moms were usually held hostage for 2 days..... but the baby has a soft heart murmer, and they want him to stay until tomorrow. I went and looked it up, and apparently its extremely common in newborns, as they transition from womb to real life. Anyhow, its not so serious, that hes got him seeing a pediatric heart Dr. She didn't get a wink of sleep last night. Apparently Scott slept (on a chair that lays to a bed), and after seemingly endless boob time, he slept most of the night, after 11pm.

She said he's dirtied his diaper 4 times, and pee'd 3 times, so he must be getting some good food. I told her I would go over sometime today, vacuum her house, and go for lasagne supplies, and make them that, and another dinner or two. I'm so excited... want to go in today, but will let other family and friends go in. Besides... in the twice yesterday I did go in, I paid $30.50 in friggin parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night was $10.50. We were parked an hour!!!!!!!!!

I will spend money gladly on food supplies, and not to park a GD vehicle down there.

I guess I left the door to the turkey hen and 3 babies open, and they were frantically calling to her. I could see two of them by the barn door, from the house. Could hear them from in here too. All they had to do to get back in with her, was hop the same partition/hog gate I have across the keep the tom in. He runs free in the horse barn, whereas I have 3 standing stalls with turkeys in them. Well.. one has 2 coronation sussex hens in it. Lost the roo awhile back.

Turkeys aren't very bright.

Well, I'd better commence the day. Wish it would rain....................................

congrats on being a new grandma again BVF! so glad everyone is happy and healthy! such good news!

well, we're here! after 45 minutes of chasing dean (dominionmlink's new rooster) around LOL. little escape artist....the hens were no problem. but he really doesn't like being caught. ah well. we prevailed. then up to drop him off...through toronto at 135km/hr bumper to bumper holy crap hang on and hold your breath kind of driving. made it though! Chantelle's new babies (fillies and foal) are absolutely gorgeous and i think the foal is definitely going to go places with a racing career....just looked at him and went "oh wow....he's awesome!".
met all the furballs, 5 i think....and then off to www's place. you guys are going to have a great piknik, what a beautiful area, and awesome place. sorry for waking you up www! great to see you and thank you for handing out the stuff at the piknik!

holy smokes rain south of ottawa, looks like it was needed! dry all the way across to quebec border....but over here it's a rainforest! such a change to have humidity in the air and dripping off the trees....
so a few last things of this estate dragging on to deal with a then we'll help out with painting and cleaning up and stuff, and maybe dunk ourselves in the lake a few times and BUG SPRAY...lol.

hopefully everyone has a wonderful week, i'm not sure how much i'll be on the board during the week.....

This afternoon, I was in the back laundry room packing for our move and hear a commotion from the chickens and turkey outside. Fearing the worst, I dash out to see a very nice blue peacock strolling by the coop! The birds are all making quite the racket, but it just calmly sauntered by and disappeared into the cornfield when it saw me.
Now I'm wondering who it belongs to!
