They seem used to it now...for an hour or so after i put them on, they were scratching around shaking their heads and so on but it settled out pretty fast...and the rooster's comb isn't any worse...so that was the whole idea...wish id had them sooner, i'm kinda thinking they were pulling butt feathers off one another...Jaye...you going to the piknik?

Glad that they are effective, and that it didn't take long for them to get used to them. Your rooster must be relieved.
And yes, I am planning on attending (barring unforeseen circumstances, of course). Will you be going?

Thank you for the picture, I couldn't quite imagine it, and now I see alien chickens, I am sure Disney could do amazing things with that idea. ;)

Well in theory, rose comb sex link, Black pullets and Barred cockerels.
