Who am I?

Our old friends are here, I have spent hours staring alternately at the pictures and the bird quide and can't say I am any wiser then I was 4 years ago when they moved in. Small bird about pigeon size sharp tipped wings and incredibly annoying voice, but I may be a bit prejudiced ;)

It's not really colorful enough for Kestrel, It's driving me a bit crazy, I can see every feather, you would think I would be able to identify it?Seriously considering Merlin, (Pigeon Hawk)
Originally thought sharp shinned Hawk, but it has pointy wings.
I think this is the male, from the back

Coopers are larger than a pigeon & don't have pointed wings . Sharp shin hawk is closer to size . From wing description & pigeon size still think pigeon hawk . Is the male smaller than the female OC . ?

It's hard to say, when in flight I can't tell who is who, the pointy wings really set them apart from the Sharp Shinned hawk.
Definitely smaller then Coopers Kathy, really a very small bird, unbelievable how much damage they can do.
The male is dark Blue on the back and the female is brownish looks like a miniature Peregrine.
Finally found the picture, definitely Merlin, Thanks to all for input, can go to bed now. :)
