So one I opened didn't make it
The little deformed chicks legs would not extend away from its body and one leg twisted sideways. It is out if it's misery. Sad. But wouldn't have survived in the mean chicken world
Due to this odd hatch I will be leaving the 5 or 6 eggs untouched until Monday. Then that's it

It truly fascinates me that a fully functioning animal, with a digestive system, central nervous system, brain, reproduction system is fully developed in 21 days. TWENTY ONE DAYS. Doesn't that just blow your mind?

It really does Sandy and never ceases to amaze me, never gets old. How that little bulls eye can turn into a living creature in 21 days!!

Nature is cool. What amazes me is, that us as humans are born completely naked/helpless, and pretty much are like that until we are pretty much grown, so that if we had to look after ourselves, as in scrounge for food in a bush if need be....we would simply die. Even a baby monkey can climb up its mothers body shortly after birth.

Then grow up to be the most destructive creature on the planet.

Strongest and fittest will survive. That's not very promising for the human species.
Natural selection will catch up to us one day and well, it will be a natural consequence for our bad behaviour.
