Good Morning!

Post by hayladee » Mon Mar 28, 2016 1:56 pm

good morning all, had a great day with the grands yesterday and found out who has been eating the eggs layed in the hay shed....I blamed it on our old golden "Taffy"....maybe so but as I threw out plastic eggs in the yard filled with coins for the egg hunt....one of my fluffy momma cats sat and bit one open....and crunched right through the plastic....I ran inside to get hub before she stopped...he'd never have believed me. he came out and she was after another so I threw out a few more and she went right for another...crunched it open then grabbed it and ran off with it when another cat came to see what she was after! Ended up having to feed the cats again and close her and the rest in the cat house so she'd leave the kids easter eggs alone, sure wish I'd have had a movie camera! Well out to check mommas in waiting....later Hay

And to crown it al I went down to close up the turkeys and it looks like Stephen has got hurt. Maybe slipped in the mud or something. His neck seems crooked and he looks scared. I've put him in a coop on his own so we'll see what the morning brings. He was fine 1/2 hr earlier.
