Christmas Turkey

Post by JimW » Fri Mar 25, 2016 2:23 pm

Easter Turkey!!!

I just finished processing one of our spare Beltsville Small White turkeys that we decided not to keep for breeding. He is about 11 months old, not our biggest boy, dressed to 18.5 pounds.

I also processed 2 guinea fowl that were kind of runts compared to the other guineas. I small regular guinea (did not weigh) and 1 french guinea from last summer, dressed weight a little over 3.5 pounds.

So turkey and guinea fowl for Easter Sunday.
