The problem with conspiracy "theory" is that it often turns out to be conspiracy "fact." Especially if it comes from "big business" or "big government."
Look at the eugenics programs in both Canada and the USA. They sterilized people deemed to be unworthy to reproduce: whether with minor mental health issues, or in jail, or very low income.
Or "Thalidimide, its safe for pregnant women, trust us."
Or "of course the water is safe to drink."
Or "GMO's are safe, or glyphosate, or asbestos doesn't cause cancer, or cigarettes don't cause cancer....
Or "these buildings are safe to work in..."
Or, "UFO's aren't real, courtesy the US military... Area 51 was a weather balloon."
And if you deem me a nut, go to youtube and look up "disclosure project"
This is video of an event where numerous retired FAA and military officials talk about what they witnessed with UFO's. Its so long, it gets boring (once the hair on the back of your neck drops).

My brother worked as a radar tech at CFB Portage La Prarie Manitoba (now closed) and they would occasionally see objects fly in fast (faster than any known aircraft), stop dead , then take off in another direction.
