Some older pictures of mine, taken with my first digital camera. The time from button-pushing to photo capture was negligible, which is SO important to my (nonexistent) photographic skill set. Almost every picture turned out just the way I wanted it to. Unfortunately, the death-knell for that camera came when it was dropped on pavement, and every one I've tried since, just can't compare.

Great pictures, love the dogs playing and the crazy fuzzy bird.
I didn't notice the lap, just thought it was a picture of a turkey catching up on some reading

Be careful letting those turkeys read could lead to a revolt and new world order.

I didn't catch him, professional fishermen in New Brunswick did

The turkey was named Dewey, and was one of three meaties, named Dewey, Eatem and Howe. Ironically, Eatem was attacked by a coyote and had to be put down, leaving Dewey and Howe. They turned into big sucky pets, and were the start of my turkey adventure.
