I need to know what breed Miss Fluff and Stuff is...she's gorgeous!
Also whoever entered snowy morning needs to enter that pic again when we are prepared to see snow everyday lol. It's a great picture!

These are wild birds
They are Sandhill Cranes and they come back every year to the same place to nest
They have one or two babies each year
We have had a few that hatch their young and then lose them to something
They are beautiful to watch their dance
These were on our neighbors front lawn
They are getting very used to people stopping to film/photograph them
Not sure if that a good thing though

I was surprised to learn that they are hunted in ?Saskatchewan and that Alberta is thinking about opening one too.
