QR_BBPOST I was at a train this past weekend. We had to look at a photo of coffee with cream and an omelette with cheese and peppers in it. They asked us which of these food are dependant on insect pollinators. I said all f them. I got it wrong cause they claim that eggs don't need pollinators cause chickens only eat grain which self pollenates. I tried very hard to explain that my chickens cant live a happy life and lay eggs without apples and squash, and , and , and,......... I guess in a room of 20 people I was the only stupid one :)

Did they say peppers needed pollinators? Actually they don't they self pollinate just fine all by themselves.

QR_BBPOST I can't imagine 99% of people get this wrong. Well. Actually, it might explain a lot.

well, they had to butcher 6 watermelons to make this....but my math teacher-who seemed to have a fascination with cutting halves into quarters and then "repairing" the butchered 3/4 melons-would tell me that there are 5....but i still maintain, they butchered 6 for the picture-and hopefully ate the 4 quarters they didn't put in the picture, because those watermelons look yummy.
