No, sorry. True cell phones is this one. The phone, which was a prototype of the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x, is nothing like the smartphone you own today. It weighed nearly two and a half pounds, was over a foot in length, offered 30 minutes of talk-time and took 10 hours to charge.Farrier1987 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 6:31 pmDo radio phones count in this? Like walkie talkies hooked up to the landline system? Radio phones way before UPC codes. But I am guessing that doesn't count as a real cellphone.
Funny thing, they put a few antennas on the Frankfurt equivalent of the CN tower that can handle 250! of those phones at once, but with a good range of ALL of Frankfurt (~GTA???). The thinking was: Who would need it and wanted to buy one?
