LOL pretty soon I bet everything will be rounded off to the nearest nickel anyway!!!! and I can't wait for the five dollar coin. I do hope that at least they put a hole in the middle so we can wear our loose change around our necks, it's getting too heavy in the purse........

An easy one today.
Which sign comes next?
(taken from here: http://www.spiegel.de/wissenschaft/mens ... 91888.html)

Additional Question:
After how many signs does the pattern repeat?

No really, I do suck at those pattern ones! Most of the time I don't have a clue about them. Usually because I'm looking at the way the matches are placed but the point is to count the squares the matches make- :-/ and stuff like that. But I'm thrilled I got this one! Hee heee!

I've got a question for the genius electrical engineers. When we use light bulbs as a heat source, we don't want the visible light, we want the wasted energy as heat. I seem to remember reading something that 3 smaller light bulbs wasted more energy than one large one, for example one 300 watt light bulb uses less energy than 3- 100 watt bulbs. But when we are using them for a heat source, would we get more heat from 3-100 watt light bulbs than one 300 watt bulb? So could we save on hydro by using, say, three 60 watt bulbs, perhaps they would put out as much heat as a single 200 watt bulb? If so, is there a way to find out (maybe there's a chart or table?) how much heat light bulbs put out?
The reason I'm asking, I bought some Zoo med (supposedly infrared) reptile bulbs, one was 100 watts and the other is 50. The chicks in the house seem as comfortable under the Zoo med 50 watt bulb as the 100- watt fake- infrared- rip- off Phillips painted- red- floodlight bulb.
Going further with that theory, what about those ceramic bulbs that put out no light at all? Maybe they put out the most heat for the wattage?
Or are the differences trivial?
