Come to the dark Side!!!
I will have a very limited number of the following available this spring. I am taking reservations now. I am in Eastern Ontario, near Smiths Falls, but travel around Ontario, or I can ship.
Ayam cemani - Indonesian Black Chickens
My bird are a cross of the two main lines in the USA Greenfire Farms and Toni-Marie Astin. Good quality birds, with good black colour, good temperment and living well in unheated coop.
Straight Run chickens $50 each, minimum order 2; Hatching eggs $25 each, $135 for 6 or $260 for 12 eggs. Very Limited numbers, reserve now.
Svart hona - Swedish Black Chickens
Very similar to Ayam cemani, said to be less gamebird like, be cold tolerance, and lay more eggs. Though my Ayam have be fine in cold weather and lay larger eggs than the Svarts.
Straight Run chickens $40 each, minimum order 2; Hatching eggs $20 each, $100 for 6 or $180 for 12 eggs. Very Limited numbers, reserve now.
Potential buyers are encouraged to research these 2 breeds before buying.
Thanks
