The Brabanter is a Dutch breed of chicken originating in the historic region of Brabant which straddles Belgium and the Netherlands.. Winter hardy breed with small combs and wattles. Layers of large white eggs, very docile breed, roosters non-aggressive.

I admit I usually don't go for fuzzy headed chickens but I think these guys are stunning! The colour on that rooster is pure butter. Gorgeous birds :heart:

Your right OC they do. They seem to have larger eyes than most chickens and are darker. The chicks always remind me of the big sad eyed puppies!!

I have my fingers and toes crossed that Gracie goes broody when you have some hatching eggs available, FRF. I've loved this breed for what seems like forever. :love smiley: :xfingers:
