RIR SOP looking to start a small breeding flock.

Post by leemann » Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:17 am

Hi everyone my name is Lee Mann and this is my first post here. I am in the London area and looking to get a small RIR breeding setup going. I am wondering if anyone locally has good true SOP bloodlines that wouldn't mind selling me some chicks.

Also looking to improve my australorp stock and some bCM if anyone has leads on them also.

Thanks so much!
Lee

Welcome to the club! I have been out of the loop for so long I wouldn't know where to start. Maybe @BobG would have an idea. I miss my Reds, they are the best birds there ever was but right now I'm just happy to have some laying hens. I searched for 3 years for perfect birds before I found some. You could try reading the results in the APA or better yet subscribe to the Feather Fancier where they post results usually with pics. There is also classifieds from serious breeders. Good birds are not cheap nor are they advertised very often.

Good luck in your search.
