Hi all
Sorry I've been pretty quiet!
Suddenly, in last 2 days, I lost my last adult good Light Brown Leghorn roo. He was not a spring chicken (hahaha). There are 5 lovely girls now who cannot lay fertile eggs in their breeding pen . I lost the backup roo last fall. Knew it was not a good place and should have been looking long before this in case this exact issue happened.
I've not attended any auctions in a while....not sure I want to with the ILT and the AI warnings all over the place. I'm not quite ready for hatching eggs either right now, so if anyone has an extra young boy, please PM me.
Hubby will be in Guelph area end of April and Sault Ste Marie the week before that, helping our lads moving houses for university.
Not that he likes chicken company, but he could transport the distance if you are far away from me and we can't meet up sooner.
Thanks in advance!
