Almost anything that comes in a standard size also comes in bantam, and in some cases are easier to find. Wyandottes, Ameraucana, (dark) Cornish, and (white) Chantecler are cold hardy and fairly easy to source. Buckeye, Turken, Sumatra and Rose comb RIR are good winter keepers too but hard to find. Silkies are surprisingly tough, but I don't know how they'd be with three seasons of winter...But since you cheat lol and add heat, they'd be fine in any case.
