Pastured pork available from young feeders. Quarters, halves, or a 100 lb. spit pig is also available. Sorry, no bacon or ham.

Lol we were just complaining about bacon and contemplating learning to do our own... Too bad you are way out eastward and we arent....

No, sorry ๐Ÿ˜” There aren't any butchers around here that smoke for anything resembling a reasonable price. I do have some belly... I turn it into what I call "cheater bacon": brined in the fridge for a week with brown sugar and liquid smoke, and then into the oven on really low heat for a few hours to remove moisture. It's actually REALLY good!

With meat prices going up unless yu grow your own gonna turn folks into vegans .

god help us, @ross ..vegetarian maybe, hell, even MJ and I are eating less meat these days but vegan?..not in a million years...you ever read the ingredients list on some of that vegan crap?...talk about the industrial complex getting a grip...may as well chow down on Soylent Green..๐Ÿ˜‚ :run:
