These boys are 19 wk old, originally from hatching eggs from heritagebreedchickens.ca as I described in my March post here hatching eggs Australorp, Orpington, Marans, Ameraucana

Rooster A (on left) is the one with the smaller comb with 6-7 spikes, currently weighs 2500 g (5 lb 8 oz), and still has a sort of awkward-teenager crow.

Rooster B (on right) is the one with the larger comb with 4-5 larger spikes, currently weighs 2680 g (5 lb 14 oz), and has the more convincing cockadoodledoo.

In both, their black feathers have the beautiful blue-green iridescence, although it doesn't entirely come across in the photos.

Both have been raised on Wallenstein's unmedicated feed and as much all-day foraging greens and bugs as they can eat.

$10 and $15 respectively.
