Omg, I want some so bad!

. I need pullets/hens though, sigh. If I end up with another rooster, heads will roll- mine to be precise lol.
I’m going to jump on this post and see if anyone wants my silkie rooster? He was sold to me as a “show quality hen”. I don’t know about show quality (though he is cute) but he most certainly is not a hen

. He’s free to a good home. Too afraid to put him on Kijiji. I’ll add a pic at some point today. I’m in St Marys.

@Mfrase27 You may want to post your rooster for sale separately, adding yours to @kenya post just confuses things

Thanks guys I do think they will be beautiful birds, some should end up show quality.
I think you are probably better off getting chicks if you have older birds just to ensure you are not bringing in any diseases. Give any away that turn out to be roosters, a lot cheaper too. I paid $35.00 and $18.00 a piece as chicks for mine so these are a good deal. Also have two showgirl chicks a paint and a black chick. $10.00 each.

That’s actually a good point, Kenya! I just haven’t had any takers for mine. I’ve been picky though. Only asking people I know. I should probably get over that lol. I’ve been harassing my husband all day to get some of yours but he’s adamant the rooster population has to decrease first

. He’s right. Ugh, hate it when that happens

I also can’t bring myself to eat silkie roosters! It’s easy with a mean big bird, cute little fluff balls... I just can’t!
