I have a four year old Blue copper Marans Rooster available for sale. He has been my head Marans rooster in my Marans flock for the last three years but now most of my flock is related to him and he is not a very prolific breeder any longer. He tends to like the young ladies so this year the only two girls he would breed were the last year pullets. I have a young rooster not related to him or the hens that I would like to replace him with but he has been such a good flock sire previously and such a mellow boy around people that I would hate to just send him to freezer camp!
He has just started molting the last couple weeks so is looking pretty scruffy but I have posted some pictures of him from this past February when he was in full feather.
Asking $5 and a chance for him continue to breed some nice black or blue copper Marans pullets.
